Hot Plate with Magnetic Stirrer

A Hot Plate with Magnetic Stirrer is a tabletop instrument used to quickly spin or mix a solution with the help of a generated magnetic field. The first Magnetic Stirrer was invented by Richard Stringham of Utah in 1917. He named the stir bar as “Flea” after perceiving certain changes while stirring like the way it jumped and spun in the flask. This laboratory instrument has fixed safety circuits and it meets international safety standards. It is commonly used in chemistry and biology labs to mix the components of the solutions and write observations.

Digital Flat Stirrer

Overhead Stirrer

An Overhead Stirrer is the best laboratory instrument used for mixing large volumes or high-viscosity substances, which can not be handled by a magnetic stirrer. The overhead stirrers came into existence in the early 18th century. With the passage of time and innovation in overhead stirrers’ technology, they transformed into digital overhead stirrers. A Vortex Shaker is a general-purpose laboratory instrument used to mix small liquids samples in test tubes or vials. It facilitates the adequate mixing of liquids. The first Vortex Shaker was developed in the mid-1950s by two brothers - Jack A. and Harold D. Kraft, well known as the Kraft Brothers. Kraft Brothers further patented this instrument on April 6, 1959. The vortex shaker is also known as a vortexer or vortex mixer.     DAN Logitech’s Mini Shaker is used for mixing the solutions in two different ways.

    • Vortex Mixing - This function mixes the liquids in a single time with high speed. Within a couple of seconds, the liquids are mixed up. The mixing speed is 3000 RPM.
